Thank God for Faust. I can always get off thinking about him. It was right then-with my recess yet dripping, and the young man beside me still trying to catch his breath-that a thought suddenly occurred to me. Actually, it was more of a realization. A jarring realization. A disturbing one. Certainly unexpected. Unanticipated. Unplanned. Unprofessional. Perhaps improper. Inappropriate. Ill timed. Yet hardly inconceivable. When I'm in my room… When I'm out… When I'm shopping… When I'm dancing… When I'm in bed… When I'm in bed with another man… Whenever, wherever, regardless of the situation…my mind invariably strays to the same place-Faust. Oh, my god. Faust! Oh-my-god! My head began to whirl. The thoughts were flooding in. Why hadn't I recognized it before? This man who taught me, teased me, tormented me, terrorized me even…he somehow invaded my heart. Now it was all so clear. The reason I wanted so much to please him…wanted to make him proud of me…wanted not to make him angry-it was all because I wanted him.I was grateful that only ten minutes after we finished having sex, Hermann was dressed and ready to leave. According to him, he had already pushed his luck by staying out as late as he had. There were rules about what time he needed to retire to his quarters. Yet he quickly added that he wasn't the least bit sorry about his being out so late.I was still nude when my sexually satiated lieutenant made motions toward exiting. I got up from the bed and accompanied him to the door. My brain was still swimming, and notions of propriety simply weren't pushing themselves to the forefront as I turned the doorknob and pulled it inward. Besides, it was now so late that I could count on there being no one in the corridor at that hour. Even more than that, based on what I had just done and what I had just come to realize about myself, I just didn't let my state of undress faze me in the least. The door was wide open. I was naked. Hermann's mouth was agape. He gave a quick look into

Read about a neighborhood of All-American kids, growing up. The stories will make you laugh and maybe cry. School was cool! Freedom and free thinking ruled the day. Girls were going through a revolutionary change and boys didn't have a chance. The boys were learning that the girls really did have something special. Summer romance and first loves are some of the many stories; but baseball, treeforts, fighting and much more are part of the story. Who knew girls could become sharks?"Out of the depths of the dark sea, Candy appeared like a large shark, with deep, dark eyes. It was like a scene from a prison movie; she swam by my table and dumped chocolate milk in my lunch tray. The boys laughed and had a heyday with that one. We went out to recess. As soon as Russ, Skip and I hit the exit doors there appeared Candy and her goon squad of six girls. Betty Smith, the Amazon Woman, Janet Betts, Ms Butch America, and several other girls who had hair on their upper lips. Betty said to Skip, "You're gettin' your ass kicked shrimp!'"This excerpt is just one of many fun filled, action packed tales.

Prior to WWII when the Romanian monarchy modernized the nation, Romania became one of the richest countries in Europe. During that time, my family was a part of privileged intellectuals and land owners. After 1939, Romania was subjected to Fascism against her will, and after 1945, the country came under Communist rule. All of us were reduced to poverty. I have witnessed how the Communist regime marginalized people and suppressed individual liberty, private initiative, lack of opportunities, and hope. I used the course of my life and decided to write its story for the purpose of showing others what an unsuccessful, socialist, Marxist government means. When it came to power, the State seized the fruits and the bounty it found, however, without producing anything on its own, except thousands of deaths and political prisoners. This is my story under a Communist regime when I lost my liberty.

Why be a princess when you can be a Queen? Not the Queen of country but of your own domain, your life. You don't need a man to have what you want in life. Naturally, we want to share our life with someone but first we need to find out who we are, establish ourselves as women and then consider who we will choose to spend our time with. Either, you've made some mistakes and feel you need some guidance on how to re-think your future or, you have just started out on your road to college and would like some advice navigating this road ahead. With all the negative representations of women we are presented with in today's society don't you want to change all of this and be a part of a different world? Do you ever ask yourself these questions: How can I, as a woman, reclaim my power? How can I, as a woman, reclaim my pride and self-respect? How do I, as a woman, ask for what I want in a polite or diplomatic way, rather than demand it? How do I, as a woman, find a person to share my life with and create a long-lasting union? A relationship that I will be happy with, not just tolerating. How do I, as a woman, put an end to divorce and babies out of wedlock and abuse rates rising higher and higher? How do I, as a woman, go back to a state of elegance, a time of pride and family, but also of love, peace and harmony? How do I, as a woman, create new rules for how to behave in society? This book will help you to find these answers; if only you will give it a try.

After the brutal murder of my brother, the Canadian justice system worked very diligently to ensure that the three people who I believe murdered him got off absolutely scot-free, never to be held responsible for their actions or spend one day in prison. And then the justice system again worked diligently to prevent my family and me from being able to do anything about it. This is a true accounting of what transpired during the past nine years since my brother's death and told in the only way I could tell it without being sent to prison for ignoring the conditions a Supreme Court judge bestowed upon me after the conclusion of the trial. In a country where courts are supposed to be open for public scrutiny, I however, as a secondary victim to murder, have been muzzled and handcuffed. It only goes to show how judges and Crown prosecutors, through their autonomy and independence, can introduce publication bans and court orders and are able to do whatever they please and make whatever rulings they wish, even if their behaviour and decisions are blatantly wrong. This is my story.

Something was different about my family. I had no idea what it was, but I knew my father, who suddenly, after being assumed missing and possibly dead, just shows up at the front door as if he had never been hurt at all, and Antonio was in a coma after being found by a fisherman. Dad wasn't acting the same. He looked like him, he sounded like him, but his demeanor was off, and I was bound to prove that he wasn't who he was, especially when he said to me "Everything you see is what you see." There were only two people who had said that to me, and that was Victor Grant and Stefano. And of all people, Victor Grant was claiming to be our real dad and then exposing his true identity as Trenton Stevens, dad's so-called brother and our uncle. I couldn't believe the shit that was being said, and it was blowing my mind. Nothing was adding up. I was gone for two weeks and being questioned by a rookie cop who was assigned to finding Victor Grant since his disappearance. He was hot as fuck, and the only thing I wanted him to do was stay away from me with his questions because I knew me. I was a fairly decent liar but quick study, knowing that if I had to, I'd do whatever necessary in order to cover my tracks and get the answers I needed to protect my family. I still believed family was the enemy, and although they were right under my nose, I couldn't trust them because nothing was as it seemed. And then my brothers started acting strange after a weekend trip. I had to get to the bottom of this one way or the other. All the money in the world couldn't prepare me for what was coming, and lie after lie, I was going to have to figure it out for myself. Even if I was the one doing the lying at times. There was no way to get to the bottom of this except for playing by Victor's rules, and he didn't play fair. In fact, he played very dirty and didn't care who he hurt during the process. Nothing was real anymore.

Caroline Carter's corpse is sitting upright by one of the kitchen cupboards, its head smashed in by the heavy iron skillet lying artistically posed next to the body, the ring finger of the left hand missing. DI John Hunter automatically reads the murder as a domestic, particularly since the husband, Max, has apparently 'done a runner'. John has no idea that the death is only the top layer of the most intriguing can of worms he has ever come across. DI Annie Green, an avid reader of crime fiction, comes back from holiday, takes one look at the white boards and tells the detectives that the murder is an exact copy of one in a novel by Mason Klee, a famous author. Klee is a member of the Mile High Millionaires' Club, an organisation for top selling authors. The copycat murder puts the out-of-favour author back at the top of the best sellers' list, giving him a strong motive for having carried out or orchestrated the killing. The motto of the Club also makes John think that the murder could have been arranged by several of the members, some of whom make him suspicious. Further investigation into the 'Gang of Four' who rule the club gives him information that convinces him that they have murdered before and could have done again. Major Neilson-Craddock, the obnoxious manager of the Club, shows his animosity to the detective but is ignored as ineffective. More copycat murders occur; another one from Klee's books, but then from the novels of other members of the Club. The normal problem, lack of motive, does not apply in this case, and the suspects multiply until a lucky break gives John his perpetrator. But John has never believed in luck!

English Folk-lore has many tales of Magpies acting as cheeky, thieving, feathered rascals who fly off with prized, sentimental, items of jewellery. By turning the bones of Magpies into jewellery my collections subvert these folk-lore's by making the Magpies into the jewellery that they would make their loot! My Rose Gold Vermeil Magpie Bones are cast from actual Magpie bones. I find Magpies endlessly fascinating. Magpies don't live by the same Darwinian rules as other Corvids, they lead rich & complex lives. One of the most remarkable things that has been discovered about Magpies is that they are the only non-mammal that demonstrates mirror self-recognition! I marvel at their beauty and at their brains and this has inspired my collection. This design is perfect for adding a cute & gothic edge to any outfit. I have chosen the delicate, pretty, subtle tones of 18 karat rose gold for this collection to lend a femininity to what has traditionally been quite a masculine motif. I believe that with truly great jewellery you are never underdressed for any moment in your life, no matter where you may find yourself. These are pieces to wear and treasure every day, everywhere, over a lifetime, and are heirlooms of the future. Solid Hallmarked Sterling Silver with a substantial coating of durable 22 karat Rose Gold

This is rock n roll writing. Its energy reminds me of early Amis, its articulation reminiscent of a Tarantino screenplay. Brilliantly sleazy, scum and filth visibly oozes from between the words on the page. Each paragraph leaves you breathless, each moving with such runaway-train speed you almost expect one to crash into the next. And it's very funny." - Paul Davenport, author of Not Like The Other Boys"I read this sitting next to my wife and after the first three paragraphs I said, 'This guy can write'. In a word, this is uncompromising, brutal and pulls no punches." - Joe Carter, author of The Corruption of Michael BlakeThe voyeur: Knowledge is lust. The pervert: The fantasy is everything. The sadist: The answer to all things lies in death. Mr White. Kidd Red. Johnny Black. Three deviants in a violent, sickly sexual dystopia where completely opposing laws and moral codes are just a short walk away. Guided by a corrupt sense of moral subjectivism, they form an uneasy friendship. Each tormented by his own grotesque existence. But the greatest danger is making sure they don't lose track of what is real. Enter the city of Rule and the world of the moral zeroes.

Olive trees around my table is the warm-hearted and, at times, heart-breaking story of Cecile Yazbek; a Lebanese girl growing up in the fifties and sixties under the shadow of the new apartheid system in South Africa. Cecile paints a colourful portrait of her first generation South African Lebanese family: its faults, idiosyncrasies, shameful secrets and strengths. A family aware of the injustices perpetrated in the society, aware enough to take action where possible yet simultaneously benefiting from the privilege, advantages and eventual wealth accorded it, by being part of the ruling elite population. This very human story vividly describes how racism, as it destroys lives around her, intrudes on Cecile's own life through the streams of powerless people seeking out her politically active father. Shattering events at home and brushes with the secret police at university force Cecile to the conclusion that she must leave this society. Cecile ultimately finds refuge in the undulating hills surrounding Australia's Byron Bay but just as she settles into her new life in Australia, her own migration experience begins to resonate with the isolation and alienation of her grandparents in South Africa at the turn of the twentieth century. Suddenly, distant lives become close and Cecile knows she must find a way to put the ghosts of her family's past to rest if she is to find peace in her new life. Sifting through her memories and reacquainting herself with the hilarious, heroic and sometimes scandalous deeds of her extended family's past, Cecile finds harmony as she builds a new life for her children in Australia, her Lebanese-African childhood furnishing her memory and life with a rich and vibrant colour.

You're reading this back flip cover page assuming you'll get a quick answer to your curiosity why this book is in the name of Hitler with his disappointed caricature and with the Pentagon named with. Reason to all this rest in a hidden sarcasm to bring rogue factor out to learn something which they never learnt before to feel good for the nation they live in. Conclusion is, to learn how the mankind can conclude their unending war and will stop staying terrified. I took long to learn all these basics, meditated through the ultimate omnipresent zero, found the source of all this creation and found something which this world hardly know anything about. My friend readers! Knowledge is the source of all solutions. Honesty is its path to stream with and Truth is the power to let it retain. Get them first to get everything which is still resting for you in future. No matter where you're, who you are or which kind of topic you are dealing with, this rule applies to all or any of them without exception. Go check it!
